Terms of Service in Missouri

What Our Pest Control Service Agreements Cover

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to pest control work performed by Missouri Pest Pros at homes and businesses across Missouri. Our standard service covers inspection, treatment, and follow-up visits for common pests such as ants, spiders, rodents, cockroaches, wasps, and termites, as described in your written estimate.

All pesticide applications follow the product label and the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Regulated applications are performed by technicians holding a Missouri pesticide applicator license through the Missouri Department of Agriculture, and our records meet EPA Restricted Use Pesticide certification requirements where applicable.

Some work falls outside a standard agreement. Structural repairs, exclusion work on large buildings, wildlife removal, and any service beyond the scope listed in your estimate require a separate written agreement. We also follow OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, for employee safety, and EPA label instructions for container disposal under Missouri pesticide rules, 2 CSR 70.

Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellation Terms

Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website. Once we confirm a date and arrival window, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Notice given less than 24 hours before a scheduled visit may result in a trip charge, which we will explain before any charge is applied.

If we need to change your appointment, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer the next available time. Weather can affect outdoor treatments in Missouri, and we may reschedule for safety reasons.

If we find a problem during the visit that goes beyond the agreed scope, such as a hidden nest or an infestation in an adjacent unit, we will stop, explain what we found, and get your approval before doing any additional work. No scope changes are performed without your consent.

Estimates, Pricing, and Payment Terms

Before any work begins, we provide a written estimate that lists the services, products, and number of visits included. Estimates are based on what we can observe at the time of inspection. If conditions change, such as new construction, moisture problems, or pest activity spreading to new areas, we will explain the situation and provide an updated quote for your approval before proceeding.

Payment is due when service is completed unless you have arranged a different schedule in writing. For multi-visit plans, each visit is billed as performed. We accept payment by phone, online, or on site. If a payment is declined or left unpaid, we may pause future visits until the balance is resolved.

We do not add hidden fees after the fact. Any charge not listed in your approved estimate will be discussed and agreed to before the work is done.

Our Workmanship Warranty

Missouri Pest Pros stands behind the quality of the treatments we perform. If covered pest activity returns within the warranty period stated in your service agreement, we will return and re-treat the affected areas at no additional charge.

The warranty length depends on the type of service, since termite work, general pest plans, and one-time treatments carry different coverage periods. Your written estimate states the specific warranty that applies to your job.

Certain conditions void coverage. These include structural changes made after treatment, moisture problems left unrepaired, new openings that let pests inside, sanitation issues that attract pests, and treatments performed by another company during the warranty period. Re-treatments under warranty cover the original treated areas only.

The warranty applies to workmanship, not to conditions outside our control. If you have questions about whether a situation is covered, call us and we will review your agreement with you.

Limits on Liability

Our liability for any claim related to service is limited to the amount you paid for the service that gave rise to the claim. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, such as wood damage from termites or rodents that existed before our first visit, or for conditions we could not reasonably detect during inspection.

We are also not liable for losses caused by factors outside our control, including severe weather, construction on neighboring properties, or customer actions that interfere with treatment, such as washing away applied products or blocking access to treated areas.

All pesticide use follows the product label under FIFRA, and regulated applications are performed by technicians with a Missouri pesticide applicator license. Application records are maintained to meet EPA Restricted Use Pesticide requirements where they apply.

We follow OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, for workplace chemical safety. These limits do not apply where state law does not permit them.

Questions About These Terms

If anything in these terms is unclear, contact us before service begins. We would rather explain a point in plain language than have you sign off on something you do not understand.

You can reach Missouri Pest Pros by phone at (855) 681-0299 or by email at [email protected]. Our office is located at 4600 Madison Ave, Suite 800, Kansas City, MO, United States. We serve homeowners and businesses throughout Missouri.

We may update these terms from time to time as our services, pricing practices, or state requirements change. When we make a material update, we will post the revised terms on our website and, when possible, notify active customers by email.

Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you have an active written agreement, the terms in that agreement govern your specific job.

Service Expert at Missouri Pest Pros

I started in pest control in the Kansas City area, learning how Missouri’s humid summers, cold snaps, and older homes with basements and crawl spaces affect pest activity. I built this company to give homeowners clear explanations and practical treatment options, from termite inspections to seasonal mosquito and rodent concerns.
